View

[View] menu is home to commands that let you perform any canvas-related operation.

Zoom In

[View] – [Zoom In] / Ctrl + +

The active canvas is scaled up by one level.

Zoom Out

[View] – [Zoom Out] / Ctrl + –

The active canvas is scaled down one level.

Fit to Window Size

[View] – [Fit to Window Size] / Ctrl + 0

Display of the active canvas matches the window size.

100%

[View] – [100%]

The active canvas is shown at 100% magnification.

200%

[View] – [200%]

The active canvas is shown at 200% magnification.

Rotate Left

[View] – [Rotate Left] / Left

Rotate active canvas 30° to the left.

Release Rotate/Flip

[View] – [Release Rotate/Flip] / Up

Reset the rotate/flip state of the active canvas.

Rotate Right

[View] – [Rotate Right] / Right

Rotate active canvas 30° to the right.

Flip

[View] – [Flip] / Down

Inverts the display of the active canvas from left to right. It will not flip the image itself.
※To flip the image itself, click [Edit] > [Flip Horizontally] in the menu.

Show only Active Layer

[View] – [Show only Active Layer]

Check this to show only the image of the active layer.

Display with Applying Color Profile

[View] – [Display with Applying Color Profile]

By checking this after setting color profiles, [Color Management Settings] will be turned on and color wheel / color bar will be shown with color profile.

CMYK Soft Proof

[View] – [CMYK Soft Proof]

By checking this after enabling [Color Management Settings], color wheel / color bar will be shown with CMYK profile.

Color Management Settings

[View] – [Color Management Settings]

[Color Management Settings] dialog box

①Check this to turn [Color Management Settings] on.
※You must specify [RGB Profile] and [CMYK Profile] first.
②Check this to turn [CMYK Soft Proof] on.
※You must turn on [Color Management Settings] first.
RGB Profile : Specify the RGB Profile.
CMYK Profile : Specify the CMYK profile.
Display Profile : When a color profile is set in the monitor, you can choose whether or not to use it.
Open ICC Profile search target folder : Open the reference folder when searching for an ICC profile.
Perceptual : Choose the color mapping method for RGB to CMYK conversion.
Black Point Compensation : By checking the box, the RGB shadow areas will be adjusted to match with the CMYK shadow areas during RGB to CMYK conversion.

Grid

[View] – [Grid] / Ctrl + G

Check this to show the grid.

Pixel Grid

[View] – [Pixel Grid]

Check this to show pixel grid while zooming in the canvas.

Grid Settings

[View] – [Grid Settings] / Ctrl + Shift + G

[Grid Settings] dialog box

Specify the units of the grid in pixels, cm, mm and division.

Ruler

[View] – [Ruler]

Check this to show the ruler.

Ruler Settings

[View] – [Ruler Settings]

Specify the units of the ruler in cm, inch and pixel.

Guides

[View] – [Guides]

Check this to show guide lines.

Edit Guides

[View] – [Edit Guides]

Add or delete guide lines.

  • Add Gude
    Click to open [Add Gude] dialog box.

    Direction : Choose the direction of guide line.
    Position : Specify the position of guide line as a distance from the top or left edge of the canvas.

  • Clear Guides : Delete all guide lines.

Brush Size

[View] – [Brush Size]

Check this to show a circle corresponding to the brush size around the pointer.

Hide Brush Cursor

[View] – [Hide Brush Cursor]

Check this to hide the brush cursor when you use brush, erase, select-pen and select-eraser tool.

Show Comic Guide Lines

[View] – [Show Comic Guide Lines]

When the [Comic Guide Lines Settings] is set, check this to show guide lines.

[Comic Guide Lines Settings] dialog box

Finish Line (Bookbinding) : Set the canvas outer frame width and height.
Safe Line : Set the canvas inner frame width and height.

Bleed : Set the length of bleed for printing.
Spread / Cover Page / Spine Width : When [Spread / Cover Page] is checked, the spread / cover page will be generated. To create a spread page, set the [Spine Width] value 0.

Transparent Background

[View] – [Transparent Background]

Check this to show transparent part as a checkered pattern.

Dark Checkered Pattern

[View] – [Dark Checkered Pattern]

Check this to show transparent part as a dark checkered pattern.

Background Color

[View] – [Background Color]

[Background Color] dialog box

Set background color from the color bar.
